We hope you enjoy your stay. Here are a few general house items to help with your stay.

 
 

TV Living Room and Rec Room TV

  • To watch through Roku use input 1

  • Use LG remote for different inputs

House climate control

  • Heating and Cooling-Main house control Mitsubishi ductless system wall mounted controllers in Family Room (next to slider) and Recroom (next to pub table)

    • Return the Mitsubishi controller set point to 67 in the winter when checking out (72 in the summer)

      • Keep the interior doors open when possible to keep room temps even

  • Individual rooms In the winter use room mounted heater thermostat as needed set to desired temp DO NOT set above 74 (caution do not put anything on or near baseboard heater they can get very hot) return set point to 50 when checking out. 

Lights

  • Outside lights main deck entrance, path and deck flood lights come on at dusk and off at dawn

  • Under kitchen cabinet lights switch is under the cabinet to the right of the microwave (black disc/puck like palm switch, just touch with the palm of your hand to turn on)

Summer

Kayak, Boat, Stand Up Paddle Board Rentals available at Lake Harmony Water Sports (within walking distance) 610-742-4403

Beach

  • The Lake Harmony Beach is open from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend.

  • Must have beach tags (beach tags are hanging by the entrance)

  • Hours vary and can be dependent on weather conditions

  • Parking is available next to the beach just under a mile (South Lake Dr and Wood Street) and by the tennis courts on Park Lane

 

Winter

  • The driveway will be plowed when there is enough to plow about 4'‘ or so

  • You are responsible for clearing a path from the driveway to the entrance door

  • Please put the shovels and brooms back (main entrance, back door, end of the deck)

  • No skies or snowboards in the house

Using the driveway anytime of year

  • Nice and easy on the way up and down

  • Don’t stop on the on the hill or you may slide or spinout

  • Use the bags of stone for compacted snow, spread some stone for best traction

Neighborhood Rules

(Lake Harmony Estates Association Rules)

  • Quiet time 11:00pm - 7:00am  (Take it inside during quiet hours as even the sound of talking outside carries)

    • No fireworks are allowed on the property or in Lake Harmony Estates at anytime

    • No shooting guns of any kind

    • No loud music, yelling, disturbing the peace, etc at anytime 

  • Take Trash out Sunday night and on checkout day.  

    • All trash must be bagged sealed and put out in the trash cans in the wooden trash bin at the end of the driveway.  Trash pickup is early Monday morning.

    • Make sure the bin is secured and latched on both sides

    • Absolutely no trash on the outside of the bin.  (animals will get into the trash if not secured in the bin)

  • Fire Pit Use-Please call Carbon County Command Center at 570-325-9111 before starting a fire in the fire pit. 

    • Just them know you are starting a camp fire at 19 Tobyhanna St, Kidder Township, Lake Harmony

      • Do not move fire pit, current location and setup meet regulations for DEP and Lake Harmony Estates.  Absolutely no fires anywhere else on the property

  • Many of the houses nearby are full time residents, please respect the association rules, quiet time and their privacy.

*Violation of  Lake Harmony Estates Association Rules will result in eviction and any violations, citations,  fines or police visit will be charged to renter
